If you own a Download Only (Dongle Free) version of ArtCAM, you will have a unique Virtual Node ID. This can be found in the about box of your ArtCAM software. This code will have a V in front of it.
To find your Node ID, look at the side of your dongle (pictured left). Your Node ID is the sequence of numbers following the word 'Autodesk' on the dongle. Zeros found at the beginning of this sequence are not included in the Node ID. For example, where a dongle's number sequence reads 'DELCAM012345' the Node ID is '12345'.
1. Open (with WordPad) your .rms file which you can find in one of the following directories :
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Delcam
D:\Program Files\Common Files\Delcam
2. You will find strings similar to :
SERVER flexserver DELCAM_ID=124589 1674
Copy the Node ID into the form at the top of this screen
